About Oaklands
Formerly a coach house and stables, Oaklands is an attractive, detached Victorian house built in 1893. The house, which retains its original features, has been extensively and attractively refurbished for its present use as a registered home for adults with psychiatric difficulties.
Oaklands is ideally situated a short walk away from the beach and town centre; in close proximity is a good selection of local shops, cafes and supermarkets and the Parish Church. Oaklands overlooks parkland areas and is conveniently placed for the railway station and main bus routes. Weston-super-Mare is a 20 minute drive from Bristol Airport.
Oaklands, established in 2010, is registered for ten adults, between the ages of 18 and 65, with psychiatric difficulties. Oaklands provides support and encouragement for an equal proportion of male and female residents.

About Sunnydale
Sunnydale (Friend 4 Friend Ltd) is a attractive and spacious Edwardian house which has been extensively refurbished for its present use as a residential home for younger male and female clients who have experienced enduring psychiatric difficulties in nurse led residential setting but who need to adapt to a more independent way of living prior to moving on to living in their own homes with minimal support.
Sunnydale, established as a residential home in 2017, is ideally situated a short walk away from the beach and the town centre; in close proximity is a good selection of local shops, cafes and supermarkets, the Parish Church and the main Weston College campus.
Directly opposite is its sister home, Oaklands, established in 2010, which provides 24 hour psychiatric nursing care. Although separate in the sense that Sunnydale deals with clients with less acute needs, both homes share the same ethos and management systems. Sunnydale is conveniently placed for the railway station and main shopping areas of WSM.
